I'm now in training for my fourth half marathon which will take place in Lincoln, Ne on May 4, 2008. I will add a post after each workout which will occur daily. Age: 34 Height: 5'6" Weight: 127 lbs. I welcome comments from fellow runners.

Learning experience.

Distance: 4.67 miles
Time: 35 minutes
Mpm: 7:30

I got fatigued on the run today, but again I was battling the heat. I talked to my friend/coach today and he told me I should have 7:30-8:00mpm pace on easy days. So actually, I'm ok on some of these days I get frustrated. Plus, I always have traffic lights so somedays I could be around 8:30 miles. I'll note on here when I am supposed to be running harder as opposed to easy days. Tomorrow I'm scheduled to run 55 minutes which will be my longest run on this program. I plan to run around 8 minutes miles.

This is only my second race ever and only took up running less than a year ago, so I still have much to learn. Once I learn to pace myself, training will get much better.
